We are excited to launch a Rosh Chodesh Minyan at The Family Shul. We'd love your help in getting a minyan for a short but meaningful Shacharit (morning) minyan. It's only once a month and is a great opportunity to reflect on the upcoming month and daven on behalf of your family. The minyan will take under an hour and include a special Rosh Chodesh Torah Reading.

Each month has its own mini Rosh Hashana. It’s called Rosh Chodesh, the “head of the month,” and is celebrated as a minor holiday. It's the day that sets the tone for the rest of the month and special prayers are added to the regular service asking for a healthy, joyous, and successful month.

Our next Rosh Chodesh minyan will take place on Tuesday & Wednesday, September 3 and 4 at 6:45 AM at the Family Shul - 121 West 19th Street

- Coffee and Bagels will be served after davening.

- Please let us know you can attend so we will know we can have a minyan by emailing [email protected]

- Please bring your Tallis and tefilin if you have a pair. If not that is fine too!
